POSTA 09 is the THIRD INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM on Positive Systems. The other two, held in Rome (2003) and Grenoble (2006) were quite successful as these could gather researchers who were able to work together  in different areas related to positive systems.

Positive Systems are dynamical control systems where variables are constrained to be nonnegative.

Many real world practical problems can naturally be formulated as POSITIVE SYSTEMS PROBLEMS through mathematical modelling and scientific investigation of the model including several areas such as chemical, electrical, mechanical, aerospace and industrial engineers, biologists, environmental health scientists, professionals and economists

This MULTIDISCIPLINARY FORUM is a good opportunity to exchange ideas and to form a contrast to results for mathematicians, engineers, Scientifics and professionals.
